Babies weigh about 3.5 to 4.1kg.
At full term, the baby continues to grow and the amniotic fluid decreases, narrowing the space.
The smaller the baby's space, the more likely it is to have problems such as compression of the umbilical cord, abnormal fetal heartbeat, and amniotic fluid being stained by placenta.
