Pregnancy Weekly Guide

[Week 24 Baby] Your long, cucumber-sized body is a cute rock-n-roll baby sensitive to noises!

Week 24 marks a significant milestone for your baby: it is when the viability of the fetus is determined.

For preterm delivery after week 24, the survival rate is 50/50 with intensive medical care; the survival rate goes up with each passing week.

With the advancement in medicine, the viability week and weight continue to be lowered.

Your baby's ears are structurally complete, and the sounds of air coming out of the baby's lungs, breathing, bubbles from the stomach and intestines, as well as the car horns from the outside, all reverberate inside the womb.

With all that thumping, it might as well be a rock concert.
