IUI Step 5 – Check Your Pregnancy Result
Once you check your pregnancy result, one cycle of IUI is complete.If your pregnancy test is positive, an ultrasound is usually performed about a week later to confirm that the gestational sac has formed properly inside the uterus.Even after pregnancy is confirmed, you may be advised to continue taking progesterone to support implantation and early pregnancy.If you are not pregnant, talk with your fertility specialist about whether to try another IUI cycle or move on to in vitro fertilization (IVF).
