Ovulation Trigger Injection – Ovidrel

Active ingredient: Choriogonadotropin alfa

Ovidrel is a recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) medication used to trigger final follicular maturation and ovulation after the follicles have developed sufficiently.

It is administered by subcutaneous injection at a specific time determined by a healthcare professional during ovulation induction or fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The timing of the injection is closely coordinated with intercourse, insemination, or egg retrieval, so it is important to follow the prescribed dose and timing carefully.

It may be supplied as a prefilled pen or prefilled syringe. If self-administering, use it only after receiving appropriate instructions and follow the product-specific directions.
